BTD SUMMER CAMPS (JULY/AUGUST 2026)
All activities will take into consideration each child’s individualized goals, and we
will incorporate these goals into natural environment teaching. Children will also
document their adventures in their scrapbook and bring it home at the end of
their summer camp. July 6th to July 17th 2026 & August 4th to August 14th 2026
$4,200 per 2 week block
Week 1: Little Scientists Camp
Is your child curious about how the world works? In our Little Scientists Camp, children
dive into exciting, hands-on experiments and outdoor adventures that spark creativity,
curiosity, and discovery. Campers will explore science in fun, messy and memorable
ways. Highlights include:
• Conducting exciting experiments such as slime-making, fizzy reactions and
simple chemistry challenges
• Exploring nature on a special trip to the beach to search for colourful sea glass
and learn about the environment
• Enjoying fun-filled water park days
Week 2: Wellness Warriors Camp
Is your child ready to have fun while learning healthy habits? Our Wellness Warriors
Camp inspires kids to eat well, exercise, and build lifelong wellness skills through
interactive activities and outdoor adventures. Highlights include:
• Learning about Canada’s Food Guide and preparing delicious, nutritious snacks
• Engaging in outdoor activities like hikes, team sports, and fun fitness challenges
• Enjoying fun-filled water park days
• Ending the week with a fun trip to Playtopia, an indoor playground, for a day of
adventure
July 20th to July 31st 2026
Week 1: MasterChef Kids Camp.
Is your child ready to explore the world of cooking and delicious treats? In our
MasterChef Kids Camp, young chefs will learn, create and taste their way through fun
culinary adventures. Highlights include:
• Making their own pizza, learning how to churn butter and creating custom ice
cream sundaes.
• Exploring foods from around the world and learning about different cultures.
• Enjoying prepared snacks outdoors.
• Fun-filled water park days
• Ending the week with a special visit to Melly’s Market + Café, supporting a community where people of all abilities work.
Week 2: Under the Sea Camp.
Is your child ready to dive into a week of ocean themed fun, creativity and discovery? In
our Under the Sea Camp, children explore the wonders of marine life through art,
science and exciting adventures. Highlights include:
• Creating ocean inspired art, including sea creature masks, dioramas and
bubble-print paintings.
• Learning about marine ecosystems and experimenting with hands-on activities
like sink-or-float experiments.
• Playing ocean themed games such as Sharks & Fish Tag, treasure hunts and
Octopus.
• Showcasing their talents at the BTD Art Exhibition for family and friends.
• Fun-filled water park days.
• Enjoying a special trip to Ripley’s Aquarium to see marine life up close.
August 4th to August 14th 2026
Week 1: BTD Olympics Camp
Is your child ready to play, stay active and have fun like an Olympian? In our BTD
Olympics Camp, children will build teamwork, confidence and physical skills through
exciting, themed activities and community outings. Highlights include:
• Participating in fun Olympic games such as relay races, obstacle courses and
team challenges.
• Engaging in cooperative sports like soccer, basketball and parachute games.
• Taking part in “Opening Ceremony” and “Closing Ceremony” celebrations,
including team flags and mini medal ceremonies.
• Fun-filled water park days.
• Ending the week with a scenic trip to Port Union Waterfront, including outdoor
games, a picnic and nature exploration.
Week 2: Little Chefs Camp.
Is your child ready to explore the world of cooking and delicious treats? In our Little
Chefs Camp, young chefs will learn, create and taste their way through fun culinary
adventures. Highlights include:
• Baking and preparing yummy treats for our BTD Bake Sale, where children will
share and sell their creations.
• Building their own sundaes at our fun ice cream station.
• Learning basic cooking and baking skills while exploring different foods and
flavors.
• Fun-filled water park days.
• Ending the week with a special visit to Melly’s Market + Café, supporting a
community where people of all abilities work
August 17th to August 28th 2026
Week 1: Eco Adventures Camp.
Is your child ready to explore nature and become an eco adventurer? In our Eco
Adventurers Camp, children will discover the outdoors while learning how to care for the
environment through fun, hands-on activities. Highlights include:
• Exploring the outdoors through nature scavenger hunts and nature walks to
observe plants, animals and habitats.
• Learning about caring for the environment and the importance of recycling
through interactive activities.
• Creating nature inspired crafts such as collages and DIY bird feeders using
recycled materials.
• Fun-filled water park days.
• Ending the week with a trip to Judy’s Farm, where children can harvest their own
vegetables.
Week 2: Science Explorers Camp.
Is your child ready to explore, discover and experiment like a young scientist? In our
Science Explorers Camp, children will engage in fun, hands-on activities that spark
curiosity and build early science skills. Highlights include:
• Participating in exciting, hands-on experiments like mixing, testing and observing
reactions.
• Engaging in sensory science activities such as slime, oobleck and texture
exploration.
• Fun-filled water park days.
• Ending the week with a trip to the Toronto Zoo.
Please note our Summer Camp Prerequisites:
Follows 2-step instructions
Able to work in small groups up to 20 minutes
Demonstrates basic communication skills (asks questions, makes comments and/or understands others)
Conversational skills are an asset
Able to transition between activities with minimal support
Demonstrates basic self-regulation skills (can manage emotions with limited assistance)
Able to focus and attend to tasks with minimal redirection
The BTD Summer Program is not suitable for your child if your child:
Displays behaviour that could cause injury or require emergency help
Requires 1:1 in a group setting
Has difficulty remaining in a structured group environment
